The Aims and Objectives of the association is to raise the profile of the controls industry and promote the environmental and financial benefits to industry and commerce and to ensure the continued development and technical excellence of control systems and products. The activities include provision of training and information, representation of the industry’s view to government and other bodies, and the development of technical standards. Federation of Enviromental Trade AssociationsThe Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) is the representative voice of the UK HVACR industry with over 250 member companies working within the industry. Trade associations affiliated include The Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) - Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association (HEVAC) - Building Refrigeration Association - Heat Pump Association (HPA) and the British Flue and Chimney Manufacturers Association (BFCMA). Whilst these associations are autonomous, all work closely together and support each other where the interests are similar. They provide a source of information on market issues, legislation, training and technological advances and promote the growth of the industry.
