Although these products have a proven record of reliability it is essential to keep them fine-tuned to match the current requirements of modern buildings. If a breakdown does occur the client is in need of rapid response by controls engineers who are both skilled and equipped with the latest software tools and spare parts to correct the problems and get the system into full working order with the minimum of disruption and plant downtime.
Our Service & Maintenance Department has the expertise and offers this facility through Service Level Agreements which improve control and energy conservation. Systems refurbishment or upgrading are undertaken from on-site surveys and give an extension of life to the installed plant with enhanced control.
We can maintain all types of control equipment from pneumatic control systems to the most up-to-date building and energy management systems. Investment in the latest technology allows us to operate our own service bureau where sites can be monitored, alarms retransmitted or problems dealt with promptly and efficiently via autodialled modems or the internet. Our experienced engineers are able to provide 24 hour cover to contracted clients with response times to suit the individual client, minimising the risk to the clients business.
Ashdown Control Services can regularly check your system to detect any hidden problems or fault, calibrate sensors and ensure that the system is in full working order. System performance reviews can be undertaken to ensure that the full benefit of the control system is being utilised to its maximum potential and improvement recommendations put forward for consideration.

Where installed systems have been obsoleted or are in a poor state of repair, we can offer detailed surveys and reports leading to recommendations for repair, refurbishment or upgrade.
Training in the use of the installed control systems ensures that the operator has the skills to get the best out of the control systems and building management supervisors and the capability of improving on the installed system to give operational benefits and additional information on monitoring or alarm handling and the control of energy used. To ensure this, we offer training either on site or on customised courses. Training is available from basic operation of the system to advanced engineering with the complexity of management of the information available.
